I imagined the double helix structure of DNA and created a model. Except for the engraving of letters and windows, I created it by combining three types of macros without using CAD/CAM at all. One feature is that, since it is managed by macros, I can freely change everything from the thickness of the ribs to the twist angle with just one numerical value. Because the work is thin and long, the central part is prone to breaking, and due to its twisted shape, a fixed support cannot accommodate all angles. By devising the support, it is possible for the support to always be in contact with the workpiece at any angle. I successfully achieved a significant reduction in breakage!

Due to the properties of the material, it is often used in areas that are prone to chemical exposure because of its high chemical resistance. Our factory operates on weekends and holidays, and we can accommodate requests for necessary items right after the holidays. By responding to short delivery times, we aim to minimize risks for our customers, such as missed arrangements or damage to jigs, as much as possible. [About Our Processing] ■ NC Lathe Processing (Okuma) In small lots, we often process R shapes that do not have standard products through NC processing, which does not incur tool costs unlike general-purpose machines. ■ Material For scientific and chemical equipment, chemical resistance is often required, and since the precision requirements are not very strict, we frequently use PTFE (Teflon).
